Grooming can be stressful. We provide a warm, loving atmosphere where your pet will learn to enjoy the grooming process. We'll build the bond of trust with your pet. We highly recommend a frequent grooming schedule for your pet. Besides keeping your pet looking its best this promotes positive behavior in your pet. Letting too much time between grooming can result in matting of your pets coat. Dematting can be a painful process. We will only brush out or demat small mats that can be removed painlessly and in a short period of time. If matting is severe or causes discomfort to comb out we will contact you to discuss your options. In severe cases, shaving may be the only option. Taking the coat to a shorter, more manageable length and more frequent grooming may be necessary for longer coats such as Afghans, Daisey Dogs, Maltese, etc.
